Use the Original CheapMod Tutorial to find the details on header pin install. The first three jumpers from left to right deal with write protection for the bios on the Cheapmod2. I used a yellow jumper to make it easy to distinguish. Write Protect Off (can be written to)
Write Protect On (can not be written to)
My advice is to ignore the remaining jumpers. As designed, the concept is to solder a wire from another jumper to D0 on the board, hook that jumper to the two pins labeled D0, then hook up a switch between the other jumpers.... Why not just solder the wire to D0, switch and then to ground? Keep it simple those other jumpers just make a mess of things and you would have to re-do it all if you wanted to install another chip down the road. If you want to have the write enable/disable on a switch outside the case, use the pigtail and solder the three corresponding wires to the switch , middle goes to middle and outside goes to outside.
